The Power of a 5-Minute Reset

I'm constantly amazed at how much a simple five-minute reset can benefit me. To do this, start by setting your phone to 'Do Not Disturb' and then set a timer for five minutes. During this time, sit and focus on your breath, whether it's following a specific breathwork practice, being still in meditation, or simply observing your natural breath. The intention of this break is to step away from your day-to-day activities and take a moment for yourself. You might be surprised at how good it makes you feel and the clarity it can bring to your thoughts.

If you've been working on the computer for a while and feel burned out, or it's later in the afternoon and you're experiencing an energy slump, it's the perfect opportunity to shut down your computer, take a five-minute break, and connect with yourself. You can lay down with your knees bent on the ground or simply sit and focus on your breath. This quick reset can do wonders for your nervous system and brain. When you return to your work tasks, you'll likely feel more clear and focused.

Overall, taking just five minutes to connect with yourself and reset your mind and body can be incredibly beneficial. So don't underestimate the power of taking a short break to prioritize your well-being.
